Our location, dating back to Roman times, offers an evocative and unique atmosphere, where history blends with taste.
As you cross the threshold of our restaurant, you will be greeted by the meat counter and the warmth of the open fireplace, where the embers burn and release intoxicating aromas.
Who we are
Taja and Coci: an evolving story of flavours. Since 2009, a point of reference for Roman cuisine, in 2023 the restaurant inaugurated a new era under the guidance of Pamela and Dario. The undisputed protagonist of the menu is the meat, carefully selected and offered in a variety of cuts and cooking methods, to satisfy every palate. Whether it's a romantic dinner, an evening with friends or a special occasion, our large room is the perfect setting for any occasion.

We carefully select the best cuts of the best Italian and international breeds, to offer you a unique and unforgettable culinary experience. The marbling, the color, the scent. Every detail tells us about the quality of our choices.
Simply Spectacular! I had dinner with my wife and 2 friends (who already knew the restaurant) and I must say that in addition to the kindness and professionalism of the owner and all the guys in the room... the starters and meat were really top! If you want to eat well you can't miss going! Everything really TOP
I've been there several times and plan to go back again! The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff attentive, friendly and kind.
The selection of meat on display is always rich and very good. In addition to the cuts, I recommend the cheeseburger, the delicious baked potatoes and the cappottata bruschetta. 🥩❤️
It's nice to still find a place in Rome where you can spend a wonderful evening with excellent food quality, impeccable service, all in a truly refined location, lots and lots of compliments again, we'll be back to see you soon!
